Prishtina, 9 December 2013  - Slovakia’s stance is not hostile to Kosovo and its people and this is seen by more frequent communications between Slovak authorities and representatives of Kosovo, said Slovak Foreign Minister, Miroslav Lajcak.

In an interview for Koha Ditore”, Lajcak also explained that Slovakia maintains contacts with representatives of Kosovo institutions and  has begun to recognize its passports. He also spoke of  exchanging visits between the two countries, adding that Slovakia  supports negotiations between Prishtina and Belgrade, things which, according to him, show a rational approach of this country towards Kosovo, although it has not recognized its independence.
