Prishtina, 16 August 2013 – Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister, Edita Tahiri, on Friday thanked EULEX for cooperation and joint efforts to consolidate the rule of law throughout Kosovo, as well as for specific engagements on issues of implementation of the Brussels agreement.
She met with Joëlle Vatcher, Deputy Head of Mission of EULEX. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Office of the EU and the EUSR in Kosovo, Michele Moran and Maaike Fekkes and Abedin Ahmeti, Acting Chief Executive of the Civil Registry Agency of Kosovo.
At this meeting they discussed the progress achieved in the implementation of the Brussels agreement for the return of civil registries in Kosovo, where achieved progress was assessed since that already over fifty percent of the books were returned to Kosovo from Serbia.
