Prishtina, 26 December 2013 – Kosovo Prime Minister, Hashim Thaçi wrote yesterday in his profile on the social network Facebook that expects a constructive debate on the Kosovo Parliament, from all political parties, to approve the budget for 2014, called by him as budget for development and reform, progress and the creation of new jobs.
He added that his government has prepared the draft budget for 2014 and that it should not be treat as a discontinuous annual budget, but rather as a long-term effects budget and integrated into medium-term economic and fiscal framework of Kosovo Government.
According to him, in 2014 the growth rate expected to be 4.1 %, while the average for the years ahead 4.6 %. He writes that these growth rates significantly higher than those of neighbouring states are. Thaçi added that Kosovo continues with the highest economic growth in the Balkans, despite the global financial and economic crisis introduced some of our neighbours to recession.
