Prishtina, 5 March 2014   – Full integration of ethnic minorities is a precondition for the creation of a stable security sector in Kosovo, where all ethnic groups fully and equally integrated into security structures.

This estimate was heard Wednesday during the launch of the analysis “Inclusion or exclusion – Minorities in the security sector in post-independence”, prepared by the Centre for Security Studies (KCSS) and supported by the Program for the Development of the Slovak Republic SlovakAid.

Donika Emini said that in this analysis, which aims to provide a detailed overview of the involvement of minorities in Kosovo security sector, researchers are focusing more on Kosovo Police and Kosovo Security Forces, but in this analysis not included Kosovo Intelligence Agency, as this institution has hermetic nature in regard to the statistics.
