Prishtina, 19 December 2013 – Parliamentary debate scheduled for the regular Thursday’s plenary session of the Assembly of Kosovo on progress in negotiating a Stabilisation and Association Agreement, was removed from the agenda by a motion, after MPs complained they had no material to know what to debate.

The motion filed by the Parliamentary Group of Self Determination Movement took 54 votes in favor, 28 against, and 2 abstentions.

Minister for European Integration, Vlora Çitaku, said the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) is a document under negotiation and as such cannot bring in Parliament without opening of all the titles for negotiation. According to her, request was only to report how far reached this process.
