Prishtina, 25 April 2014 – Government  of Kosovo, in its regular session,  Friday has adopted the Draft-law for legal protection and financial assistance for all the potential accused by the Special War Crimes Court in Kosovo.

Hajredin Kuçi, Deputy-Prime Minister and Minister of Justice, said that the states is obliged to offer judicial help to persons that may be accused by the Special Court, which is going to review investigations of the Task Force, initiated by Dick Marty’s fictional report.

“Following the adoption in the Assembly of Kosovo, I think that Kosovo government should introduce a law that will regulate legal protection for persons eventually accused. It also should regulate a compensation of the visits of their relatives”, Kuçi pointed out.
