Prishtina, 27 March 2014Senior officers of the Kosovo customs presented, yesterday to Prime Minister of Kosovo Hashim Thaçi the project for the launch of centralization and unification of procedures of the evaluation of goods during import, a procedure that began in 2014, and has resulted with the increase of the revenue, over 12% more than the previous year.

This is a project within the framework of the reform of customs administration and their efficiency, it was said during the visit of PM Thaçi and Minister of Finance Besim Beqaj, who met with the director of Kosovo Customs Lulzim Rafuna.

“For each investor, but also our local producers who export goods to European Union countries, the customs presents the first administration they face. Thus, the improvement that you have achieved  has given a great impetus to attracting foreign investor sto Kosovo to Kosovo,” PM Thaçi said.
