Prishtina, 9 January 2014 - Central Bank of Kosovo (CBK) has announced that customer deposits in commercial banks have increased in value 2.36 billion Euros. About 48 percent of deposits are time deposits, while loans to deposits ratio remain at 76 percent.
“The bank borrowings, other liabilities and provisions for credit had no significant changes, the profit of commercial banks until November 2013 recorded 23.6 million Euros.
Compared to the same period of the previous year, profit increased to 14.3 percent. Capital of commercial banks amounted to 251.1 million Euros. Compared to November 2012, equity rose by 3.4 percent”, CBK has announced.
