Prishtina, 4 January 2014 – Kosovo authorities have expressed concern about the dragging of works by Serbian authorities regarding the mass grave in Raska, Serbia. This concern was expressed on Monday to the deputy director for operations of the International Committee of Red Cross to Europe and Central Asia, Caroline Douilliez-Sabouba, as well as representatives of the Association in Prishtina.
Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Edita Tahiri, accompanied by representatives of the Government Commission on Missing Persons, headed by the chairman of this committee, Prenk Gjetaj, Monday held a working lunch with International Committee of the Red Cross officials, during which they discussed the intensification of cooperation between the Government of Kosovo and the ICRC.
During the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Tahiri expressed appreciation for the work and contribution of the International Committee of the Red Cross in joint efforts to clarify the fate of persons missing because of the war of 1998-1999 in Kosovo.
