Prishtina, 4 December 2013  - European Centre for Minority Issues (ECMI Kosovo) and the network of women’s organizations of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians in Kosovo (RROGRAEK), at a press conference on Wednesday presented a report aimed Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian women’s economic empowerment in Kosovo.

This report prepared by ECMI Kosovo and RROGRAEK advocates’ greater support to women’s economic empowerment of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities through recommendations formulated within.

Flora Macula, the Office of UN Women in Pristina, said that this report is concerned with the advancement of women’s participation in peace building and planning.
